IPL 160 crore to be spent on ADVERTISEMENT

A huge campaign to popularize IPL in the country is being planned. Across the country starting next month television channels, newspapers and the Internet will become the target of ads by both the IPL and the franchisees. The focus will on regional channels and newspapers as they want local loyalty for the local cities. Hold on tightly as the tidal wave advertising is set to hit next month.

The ads will run first in India and then globally. WSG and BCCI have roped top advertising agencies for these ads and they plan to be creative and fun and aim to make IPL a prime entertainment and sports brand.
